FIFA U-17 WC: Eaglets sends rivals Brazil packing with 3-0 win, Osimhen edges closer to milestone record

Golden Eaglets of Nigeria continued their sublime run of good form after they beat their South American counterpart, Brazil 3-0 to go through for the semi final stage of the ongoing
2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile on Sunday night 1st November, 2015.

The Emmanuel Amuneke led team gave the Brazilians no breathing space as they zoomed into a 3-0 win in the first 45 minutes of the encounter with goals coming from a likely source Victor Osimhen 29' (tournament's top goal scorer), Dogo Micheal 30' and Ndubusi Anumudu 34'.

Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen who is the current tournament's leading goalscorer with seven goals is on the verge of making history as he has only two goals remaining to equal the 9-goal record set by France's Sinama Pongolle (pictured above) scored in a single tournament set in 2001 edition of the FIFA U-17 WC

Nigeria will play the winner of the match between two giants Mexico and Ecuador in a semi-final match on Thursday 5th November, 2015.
