SAD: Shooting Stars defender Izu Joseph shot dead by Nigerian JTF soldiers in Bayelsa


Izu Joseph who plays as a defender for NPFL club, Shooting Stars (3SC) of Ibadan has been shot dead by soldiers in his hometown Okaki in oil-rich Bayelsa State on Sunday.

Isaac Success shares the Man of the Match award he won Today on his Twitter account



In his first English Premier League start, Watford's Nigeria Striker Isaac Success was given the Man of the Match (MOTM) award after they beat newly-promoted EPL side Middlesbrough 1-0 away from home on Sunday 16th October 2016.
The 20-year-old former Granada striker, who was very influential throughout the game, took to his twitter account to share a photo of the award after the match.

Nigeria Professional Football League Champions, Enugu Rangers International FC yesterday took to the streets of Enugu state capital to celebrate with their fans for winning the league Trophy for the first time after 32 years but one thing that caught so many eyes and got so many mouths talking, is their so-called PARADE TRUCK. But Nigerian football lovers and fans believed they made a mess of the whole thing by using that ugly and dirty Truck. 

But what were they (club management and the state government thinking? They should have rented one of Dangote's Truck and branded it at least (just saying)...see more photos
