Remo Stars FC of Ogun state broke the hearts of Enyimba fans when they shockingly knocked out Federation Cup holders Enyimba in their Round 32 match winning the match on 3-1 on

penalties in Aba Township Stadium the home of Enyimba FC.

Elsewhere, Enyimba FC was not the only victim of shock surprise as NPFL defending champions Kano Pillars was also sent packing from the annual competition by Plateau United on penalties too.

Other results  Enugu Rangers, Lobi Stars, FC IfeanyiUbah, Akwa United, Nasarawa United, Heartland FC, Kwara United, El-Kanemi Warriors, Prime FC and BJ Foundation all progressed to the Round of 16, coming up on July 22 and 23. They are as follow;
