NFF sacks Super Falcon's Coach Okon, appoints Danjuma as Interim Coach

So many Nigeria football fans saw it coming, even Coach Okon himself could not deny that his sack letter is already in the waiting...

The Nigeria Football Federation has sacked the coach of Nigeria Female Football National team, Edwin Okon and has announced Christopher Danjuma as acting coach.
Chairman of the NFF Technical and Development Committee, Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu,
praised the efforts of the former technical crew headed by Mr. Edwin Okon, saying they did their best within the period they were in charge of the team.
The poor performances of the Edwin Okon-led Super Falcons in the ongoing 2015 FIFA Women World Cup in Canada after they failed to win a single match which led to their early exist in the Group stage from the Competition and perhaps it didn't go down well with the NFF board which led to his sacking.
Danjuma’s first assignment will be to see the Falcons past Equatorial Guinea, with the first leg in Port Harcourt on Saturday, 18th July and the return leg in Bata on 2nd August.
