Nigerian striker Dickson Nwakaeme is
the joint leading scorer in AFC Cup after he bagged a hat-trick for his
Malaysian club Pahang in a 7-4 win over Yadanarbon on Wednesday.
The former RoPS of Finland forward is now joint top scorer with
six goals with Riste Naumov of Ayeyawady.
Nwakaeme scored the opening goal to
give Pahang a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute. He then made it a brace to
give his side 3-0 lead in the 32nd minute.
He completed his hattick on the hour to give his team a 5-2 lead. Pahang are now second in Group G of AFC Cup and need only a draw in last game to qualify to the next round.
