Super
Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has the final say on who becomes his
assistant, this is according to his brother and agent Emmanuel Ado. It is believed that Keshi has accepted that Daniel Amokachi be replaced
by Salisu Yusuf as his first assistant following
recommendation from the
Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).However, Emmanuel Ado has insisted Keshi is still consulting over who joins him on the bench.
"I want to confirm that Keshi is consulting all stakeholders - the NFF president, chairman technical, journalists and other stakeholders on the issue of his assistants and some other issues," he disclosed.
"Keshi is consulting. The final decision on his assistants and team is going to be his. But he must consult because he is not all knowing. It is about Nigeria. There will be no sentiments"
He added, "In his first coming there was no controversy on the issue of his assistants, I wonder why we are making an issue out of it now.
“We ask for prayers and support for the Super Eagles.
"The fans want to see the team return to their winning ways...playing well and winning and that is what my client wants to work on."
