Nigeria-born England youth international Dele Alli has signed off at MK Dons on the high as he won promotion to the English Championship with the team. MK Dons beat Yoevil Town 5-1 on Sunday to grab an automatic promotion ticket at the expense of
Preston North End, who lost 1-0 at Colchester United.
Alli, who will join Tottenham Hotspur in the summer following a £5million January move, was emotional on Twitter.
"Perfect way to end a perfect year! Gunna miss these boys so much #thedonsaregoingup," Alli tweeted.
Alli scored 16 goals, as the club's second top scorer behind William Grigg, who netted 19 goals.
