Flying Eagles captain Musa Mohammed has expressed happiness at his invitation to the National U-23 Eagles team even as he promised to help the Samson Siasia led side beat Zambia in the final round of All Africa Games qualifier on April 11 in Lusaka.
Musa is one of the five players drafted into the Dream Team Six squad by
Coach Samson Siasia for the second leg clash with the Zambia in Lusaka.
The Kano born defender who captained the Golden Eaglets to win the U-17 World Cup in UAE told Complete Sports that he is ready to fight for shirt in the team and ensure that he contributes to qualification for the AAG.
“It is an honour to be considered good enough to be part of the Dream Team and I can only give it my best as usual to see that we get a good result in Lusaka and qualify for the AAG”, he said.
“It is not going to be easy but I can assure that if the coaches consider me good to start the game, I will play my best and combine with the other players to ensure that we progress,” he stated.
Zambia drew goalless with Dream Team in the first leg in Abuja last week.
