Flying Eagles forward, Bernard Bulbwa has been graciously rewarded for his wonder goal against Senegal in the AYC final with a four year deal at Tunisian side, Esperance.
Bulbwa who plays his club football with little known Nigeria amateur side Waters FC, signed
the contract late Wednesday night and thus joins compatriot Emem Eduok at the Blood and Gold outfit.
Details of the contract have not been made public but Bulbwa becomes the 8th Nigeria player to feature for Esperance.
Julius Aghahowa opened the route in the 1990s when he made a sensational move from Bendel Insurance.
Bulbwa’s ‘control, turn and strike’ goal from outside the box against hosts Senegal in the AYC final last month stood out in the competition, and aside fetching Nigeria the title, it also earned him award at the tournament, as well as opening the doors for several suitors for his signature.
