Nigeria international striker, Odion Ighalo scored for English Championship club, Watford in the 2-2 draw with Derby County on Friday night.
Ighalo finished crisply with the outside of his right foot past the Derby goalkeeper, Lee Grant in the
76th minute following a delightful assist from teammate, Adlene Guedioura.
The 25-year-old had earlier signaled his intent with a fortuitous assist for Watford’s first goal finished off by Matej Vydra in the 23rd minute.
Ighalo’s second half finish at the iPro stadium on Friday represented his 18th in the league for the Hornets this season.
A win would have taken Watford top of the championship but they now sit in fourth place on the standings with 73 points from 40 matches.
The top two teams in the Championship at the end of the season are automatically promoted to the Premier League while the next four teams in descending order (third to sixth) engage in a playoff for a solitary promotion ticket.
