Barcelona right-back Elohor Godswill Ekpolo says he is delighted to resume training with the B team – The Azulgranas.
The 19-year-old was promoted from the Juvenil A’s to the B team on the back of his impressive displays in last season's UEFA Youth League, but is yet to play an official game in
2015, having spent several months on the sidelines. The Benin-City born Ekpolo damaged his meniscus in the semi-final of the Copa Catalunya against Girona on May 13, 2014, an injury which made him undergo surgery.
''I am very fit now and started training with Barcelona a long time ago,'' said Elohor Godswill Ekpolo.
''Thanks to God that my rehabilitation went well. God was in control of everything.''
Despite being fit, Barcelona B coach, Jordi Vinyals, will not hand the Nigerian his debut until next season as he has not been registered for the Segunda Division.
Barcelona tied Elohor Godswill Ekpolo down for three more years before the start of this season.
