Federation Cup Update: Kukuruku Makes Progress, Nath Boys Crash Out (See Full Results)


Kukuruku FC of Edo State has reached the main draw for the National finals of the 2015 Federation Cup competition after overpowering God’s Time FC from Delta State 3-2 in a keenly contested play-off round on Tuesday.
Tuesday’s knock -out matches between the so-called rookie teams saw eight teams progress into the National finals, which kicks off with the Round of 64 mid-May, after the
Draw slated for the end of this month.
Youthful Nath Boys of Lagos, a club with players of the average age of 17, was edged narrowly 2-1 by Peacemaker FC of Osun State, and Inter FC of Enugu saw the back of Black Cats of Cross River 2-1.
