BIZZARE: RANGERS Coach ESCAPES MOB attack after Sunday's shock Loss

Enugu Rangers coach Kelechi Emeteole had to be whisked away from a mob of angry fans by security after his club slumped to a 1-0 home loss to Giwa.Emeteole has blamed mother luck for the setback on Sunday.
“It was a very bad day for us. We didn’t deserve to lose the game. We hit the wood work three
times, created more than half a dozen chances but could not get one into the opponents’ net,” he lamented.
“This is pure hard luck. We shall continue to work on the team till we start getting the needed results.”
Giwa coach Tony Bolus said the shock win in Enugu will be the start of a 10-match unbeaten run for his team.
“We came with a game plan and it worked for us. We deserved our three points and this is the start of a 10-match unbeaten run we set for ourselves,” he declared.
“Rangers played well but my boys curtailed them and we scored one of the most beautiful goals I have seen thus far in the league.”
It was Shuaibu Ibrahim’s 51st minute goal that separated both sides in a keenly contested encounter that was watched by nearly 4,000 spectators inside the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu after he reacted the quickest inside the box to finish a delicate chip from Henlong Charles.
The introduction of Emeka Eze, Chisom Egbuchulam and Dada Bitrus by the Rangers coach seem to bring out the best of the home side, but some inspired goalkeeping and inexplicable misses from the front men robbed Rangers of the much needed equaliser even as coach Emeteole handed starting places to Alex Nkume, Christian Madu, Orji Kalu, Osas Okoro and Kola Anubi.
