–NFF also court Angola, E/Guinea to replace Ghana
Super Eagles are in line for an international exhibition game on March 29 with Bafana Bafana of South Africa, officials have informed.
The game slated for South Africa is at the instance of the rainbow nation who are understood to have initiated the move by writing their NFF counterparts.
The Super Eagles were initially slated to confront Ghana Black Stars on that date but FIFA called off the game saying under its new rule, no team is permitted to play two games across continents within one FIFA window.
The proposal, Complete Sports gathered, appears a welcome cushion for the NFF who are keen on engaging the senior national team with grade A games in each FIFA window in line with its rebuilding plans.
It was also gathered that NFF are also making moves to secure friendly games with Angola and Equatorial Guinea if the deal with the South Africans fail to come to fruition.
