BULBWA MAY CANCEL ESPERANCE CONTRACT

Nigeria youngster Bernard Bulbwa may soon terminate his five-year contract with Esperance of Tunisia as he is yet to receive part of the payment promised him. source
close to the Nigeria U20 star disclosed: “Bernard is about to terminate his contract with Esperance as they are yet to pay him part of what they promised him up till this time.

“The boy signed for them despite opposition by his handlers and now it seems the fears of his representatives are very well founded.”

The source further added: “The boy was desperate to sign the offer that was on the table because he was not sure he will make the final squad to the U20 World Cup in New Zealand.” In March, Bulbwa, who has also represented Nigeria at U17 and U23 levels, scored a spectacular African Youth Championship winner for Nigeria against hosts Senegal.

He subsequently turned down interests of several top European clubs including Rosenborg of Norway to sign for Esperance.
