Joshua Ezewele demonstrated on Tuesday afternoon that he is making remarkable progress at West Brom, starring for their Under 21 team in a 3-0 win over Arsenal in the U21 Premier League Division 2.
It seems the right-back has won over the Baggies Youth Team coach, James Shan, who
gushed about his performance against The Gunners in his post-match comments.
Joshua Ezewele primarily defends the colours of West Brom's Under 18 team, but has been drafted into the Under 21s four times this season after a string of imperious displays for the younger squad.
''I was really impressed with several of the Under-18 players in the squad, most notably Josh Ezewele at right-back and Jack Fitzwater at centre-back,'' James Shan told West Brom's official website.
The 18-year-old Ezewele is eligible to represent the national teams of Nigeria and England.
