Sanusi, Anyasi-Agwu blast poor officiating after Enyimba’s exit

NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, has criticized the quality of officiating, after Enyimba were dumped out of the CAF Champions League on Sunday.
The former Nigerian champions were beaten 2-0 by Smouha FC of Egypt in Alexandria, losing out 2-1 on aggregate after winning the first leg of the tie.
“The officiating was highly questionable. No wonder the Smouha FC officials refused to allow any recording of the game. This is bad for African football,” Sanusi said at the final whistle.
Anyansi-Agwu lamented Enyimba’s late collapse, as they conceded twice in six minutes towards the end.
“My players gave their all, but poor officiating did not help our case and was quite bad in the final minutes.”

MY RECOMMENDATIONS
Please stop blaming referees and improve our local league games so that the quality of play would improve too...
