Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye, the Director General of National Sports Commission (NSC), has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect.
Elegbeleye’s sack was on the order of President Goodluck Jonathan.
Meanwhile, a Director in the NSC, Alhassan Yakmut, has also been directed by the Sports Minister, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, to assume office on Monday as the Acting Director General of the Commission.
