Musa, Awoniyi, Alampasu join U-23 Eagles

Flying Eagles captain, Musa Mohammed, on Wednesday arrived at the Abuja camp of the U-23 Eagles ahead of the second leg of the All Africa Games qualifier against Zambia billed for April 11, in Lusaka.

The team’s media officer, Timi Ebikagboro, informed New Telegraph that, “Mohammed was
the first to arrive and he joined in both morning and evening training sessions of the team.” He added that Taiwo Awoniyi, Bernard Bulbwa and Mustapha Abdullahi joined the team late in the evening due to the distance from their respective abodes.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper, Dele Alampasu, who was reportedly ruled out of the Zambia match due to a wrist injury is already in camp. “Alampasu is in camp and he is not injured.

He had few challenges sorting his release from his new club but it has been sorted out,” Ebikagboro said. The U-23 Eagles were held to a goalless draw during the first leg qualifier at the National Stadium Abuja on March 22.
