Anglo-Nigerian forward Dominic Solanke might be involved in the London
Derby between Arsenal and Chelsea on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium, if
words from Blues manager Jose Mourinho should be believed.
The former Real Madrid, FC Porto and Inter Milan gaffer confirmed that
Didier Drogba has recovered from a minor ankle injury to lead the attack
against the Gunners, but Loic Remy (calf) and Diego Costa (hamstring)
face late fitness tests.
''This week, because we are not sure about him, we decided Solanke
wouldn't play yesterday with the Under-21s, also to have him fresh and
ready,'' Mourinho said.
''So it will be Didier and Solanke, or Didier and Diego. We make that
decision tomorrow. But Diego is there for Leicester if not Arsenal.''
Solanke, who has been tipped by Mourinho to be an England international
in the future, is still eligble for Nigeria at senior level.
