Kogi clubs’ boss resigns

Chairman of stateowned Kogi United FC and Confluence Queens, Mallam Abdul Adama, has resigned his appointment with immediate effect.
Adama, who was appointed the sole administrator of both clubs in September 2013, was saddled with restructuring and repositioning the clubs in their respective leagues.
“This has been a very difficult decision to make as I enjoyed a good and
progressive working condition throughout my appointment as chairman of Kogi United and Confluence Queens,” the former Chairman of ABS FC of Ilorin said.
“I remain grateful to Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State for the opportunity to serve and contribute my quota to the development of sports in our dear state,” he added.
Both clubs have witnessed improved turn around under the Adama leadership.

Kogi United finished 7th for the first time in its last campaign of the Nigeria National League while Confluence Queens finished 5th in the last NWPL season.
