GENERATION NEXT: Nigerian racing driver gunning for F1

Nigerian racing driver Ovie Iroro is gunning for the top car racing competition in the world, The Formula One.
After becoming the first Nigerian driver to compete in the British Formula Ford
Championship Iroro has also set his sights to follow the footstep of World Number one, Lewis Hamilton who is the first black man to win the Formula One.
Ovie Iroro moved to the UK about three years ago to pursue a career in Mechanical Engineering student at the University College London.
While there he has also pursued a career in motorsport and won the Best Rookie award at Rye-House club championship in 2012 and was part of the UCL BUKC rookie team that placed seventh overall in the UK.
My aim is to get to Formula 1 in future; that’s the pinnacle of motorsports. It’s every young driver’s dream to get there and hopefully, with the right backing and funding, I will make it to F1,” Iroro said.
He is already flying the Nigerian flag high as he represented the country in 2014 at the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile young drivers academy held in South Africa.

KEEP IT UP BOY!!!
