Chairman of the State FA Elections Monitoring Committee, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau disclosed
to thenff.com that Abba Agwe Furo was elected the 1st Vice Chairman while Mr. Polycarp Guyuk took the position of 2nd Vice Chairman.
The elections conducted at the NUJ Conference Centre in Yola were supervised by Mr. Sunday Longbap, Chairman of the Plateau State Football Association.

The elections were postponed as a result of perceived government interference in the electoral process, but Gusau confirmed that the NFF sanctioned the holding of the polls on Saturday “because we have been able to put the right machinery in place and are now convinced that the government is no longer interfering with the process.”
