Moses Simon continues scoring spree in Belgium

Red-hot Nigeria striker Moses Simon was the match winner as Gent recorded a 1-0 win over Waasland-Beveren and for him to extend his fine form in Belgium.

 The former Trencin of Slovakia star hit target in the 65th minute to score his sixth goal in
the league.

Gent are third on the league table with 51 points in 28 games, while Waasland-Beveren are 13th with 25 points in 28 games.

Simon’s club are thus within the six-team bracket to feature in the championship playoffs at the end of the regular season.
