NIGERIA'S Falconet sent home, finally paid 30,000 Naira each after disappointing World Cup

After failing to advance to the next stage of the Women Under-17 World Cup in Papua New Guinea, the Falconets of Nigeria have finally been paid 30,000 Naira each on their return to the country by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

After their shambolic 6-0 defeat to Japan in their first Group B match, Nigeria Female U-20 team known as the FALCONETS walloped Canada 3-1 at the ongoing FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Bava ParkPort Moresby (PNG) Stadium, Papua New Guinea on Wednesday.

RASHEEDAT AJIBADE won the player of the match award

Falconets Coach, Peter Dedevbo, was confident that his girls will bounce back from that initial defeat and they did exactly that. 
Nigeria will play Spain in their next match  on Sunday to determine who goes through to the next stage.
