Musa Mohammed Turns New TV Star, Nicknamed ‘The Blessed One’ after his chat with Turkish President Erdogan Goes Viral


Former Golden Eaglet of Nigeria defender Musa Mohammed, who has captained both Nigeria's U17 and U20s to major trophies is the new television star in Turkey after his one-on-one chat with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that was aired live went viral on the

internet across the country during a benefit match for those who died in the bombing around the Besiktas stadium recently.

The cool-headed 20-year-old Musa chatted with President Erdogan before the game.
And during the group photograph of the players with the charismatic President Erdogan, who also placed his right hand on Musa’s head leading to the Nigeria defender’s new nickname of ‘The Blessed One’. 

It is believed that President Erdogan has a close connection with Musa’s Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir, who lead the Turkish Super Liga halfway through this season. 

With this new development, his High-flying Turkish league club Istanbul Basaksehir have now made it very clear they will not be selling Nigeria international Musa Mohammed in January.
