Gbolahan Salami scores first goal as teammate Azubuike Egwuekwe scores own goal in home loss

Former Warri Wolves striker Gbolan Salami opened his goalscoring account for his new Finnish side Kuopion Palloseura in their 3-2 at home loss to PK-35 Vantaa on
Thursday.

It was the 24-year-old's second start in the Veikkausliga as he restored parity for his side in the 11th minute after Aleksi Ristola had given the visitors a sixth minute lead.

But an own goal from his compatriot Azubuike Egwuekwe in the 36th minute saw the visitors take the lead again.
Gbolahan won the inaugral NPFL Rashidi Yekini Golden boot award last season with 17 goals.
