BREAKING: Super Eagles held to a goalless draw by minnows Swaziland, other results

Mikel Obi vies for the ball between two Swaziland players

The Super Eagles of Nigeria displayed a below par performance as they were held to a goalless draw by much quicker Swaziland national team in the first leg of their World Cup Qualifying match held in Labambo on Friday 13, November 2015. The both side played with
high tempo for almost all the duration of the game but at the end their were no clear cut chances.
Coach Sunday Oliseh who was reported to be seriously sick, made it to the game and started the first half of the match experimenting the likes of Slyvester Igboun and Suleiman Abdullahi. Nigeria seems to create fewer chances and that forced Coach Oliseh to introduce the likes of Obafemi Martins and sensational teenager Kelechi Ihenacho in the second half of the game but still yet the match ended 0-0. Swaziland should be proud of the result as they head into the second leg to take place in Nigeria on Tuesday with a slight away rule advantage.
Andile Jali of South Africa

In the other World Cup qualifying fixtures, 10-man South Africa shocked everyone as they broke Angola's unbeaten home record of 22 years with a 3-1 defeat, Cameroon demolished Niger 3-0 away from home, Ghana also played out a goalless draw away to unknown Comoros, visiting Ivory Coast came out victorious after they pipped Liberia 1-0 thanks to Cyriac's goal while Tunisia fought back from a goal down to beat Mauritania 2-1 away.
