SHOCKING: Emmanuel Emenike quits International football

Emmanuel Emenike

Controversial Super Eagles of Nigeria Striker Emmanuel Emenike has made a shocking announcement to quit from playing with the national team from henceforth. Just weeks after
the ugly rift between new Super Eagles Coach Sunday Oliseh and captain Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama that led to latter's sudden quit from international football, Emenike has joined the band-wagon.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old Emenike said he had nursed the intention of quitting national team long before Sunday Oliseh was appointed the head coach and also highlighted that he never wanted to be insulted and forced out of the national team just like his team mates are being maltreated in the under current administration.

Emenike was part of the Nigerian team that won the AFCON Nation's Cup in 2013 under Coach Stephen Keshi and currently plays his club football at Al Ain FC in UAE.
