NPFL: Enyimba retains top spot despite loss as Warri Wolves closes in


NPFL current League leaders Enyimba of Aba lost 2-1 away to Heartland FC of Owerri in their oriental derby played on Sunday 4th of October, 2015. The loss means the People's Elephant are on 58 points just three points clear of second-placed Warri Wolves with six
rounds of matches till the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Warri Wolves demolished Sunshine Stars of Akure 3-0 in Delta as Gbolahan Salami banged in a hat-trick to announce his comeback after being sidelined because of injury problems for weeks.
Chisom Chikitara also got a hattrick for Abia Warriors as they played out a 3-3 draw at home to Rangers of Enugu on Saturday 3rd October, 2015. Defending Champions Kano Pillars were held to a goalless draw by Giwa FC of Jos. See other results on the other page...
