JUST IN: Tanzania holds Nigeria to a stalemate in AFCON Qualifier (Photos)

Super Eagles of Nigeria were held to a goalless draw by a much more motivated Tanzanian team in their second match of the AFCON qualifying fixture in Dar es Salaam on Saturday in
what was Coach Sunday Oliseh's official assignment.
The new coach of the Super Eagles Sunday Oliseh chose a rather averagely inexperienced side with debutant Wolverhampton Wanderers' Goalkeeper Carl Ikeme replacing first choice keeper Vincent Enyeama in between the sticks, but it was all evident as the Nigeria players always lacked creativity in the midfield and attack.
In a very physical game, Nigeria defender Kenneth Omeruo (pictured below) was lucky to just have escaped a big injury blow with a cut on his face after a challenge from a Tanzanian player.

Tanzania who were beaten 4-0 by Egypt were happy also to get a draw with their first ever professional encounter with Nigeria.
Sunday Oliseh failed to invite the likes of Odion Ighalo of Watford and Chelsea's duo Mikel Obi and Victor Moses, but that seems not to be very fruitful as Nigeria goes to face Seven times AFCON Champions Egypt in the next game.
