Nigeria wins Afrobasket Championship for the first time in history (See Photos)

Nigeria beat 11th time winners and current defending champions Angola by 74-65 points in the final of the Afrobasket Championship hosted in Tunisia to clinch their first-ever title since
the inception of the competition in 1962. Before now Nigeria had become runners-up in three different occasions in 1997 (loosing to host nation Senegal), 1999 and 2003 (loosing to Angola in both years). This win means that Nigeria has automatically qualified to play in the 2016 Basketball Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
