Kaduna United football Players protest over payment of salaries


The players of Kaduna United football club of Nigeria currently playing in the division two(2) of Nigeria League has took to the streets to protest over unpaid salaries and bonuses.


The players say they have not been paid for 19 months and are seeking audience with newly elected Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
The club was relegated from the Nigeria Professional Football League last season. The players led by the captain, Emmanuel Ambrose on Thursday, July 2 stormed the Ministry of Sports complex to protest with placards. 
Defender Linus Adams, claims he is being owed over N2m and that he recently lost his father due to lack of funds to pay for his hospital bills
