Timothy Idogbe set to join NNL Side, Atiba utd

 

Shooting stars striker Timothy Idogbe is set to join Nigeria National League side Atiba United, official of the club disclosed today.
The news came several hours after media reports claimed the former Bayelsa united forward is
surplus to requirement at Shooting stars, the club where he won many honours.
While with 3SC, Timothy Idogbe was the top scorer for 2008/2009 National Division I season with 15 goals and also scored another 10 goals at the 2009 FA Cup. He sustained an eye injury in a pre-season friendly against Gateway after the 2009 promotion which later saw him under the knife at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) and was out for
months.
Idogbe, 29, is sighted today in a training session at Soun township stadium, Ogbomoso with Atiba united officials and players.
Official of the club said that the deal will be officially sealed before Saturday.
The NNL newcomer will host Bendel Insurance of Benin at their adopted home ground of Soun township stadium, Ogbomoso on May 2nd.
