Super Eagles Player Performances Abroad


Below shows the performances of Nigeria players abroad for their various clubs as the road to AFCON 2017 draws nearer.


 Odion Ighalo: The striker was on for 65 minutes as Watford won 2-0 at Brigthon and Hove Albion to seal their promotion to the EPL. He struggled to find his feet and was substituted with Matej Vjate in the 65th minute. Watford have already been promoted to the English Premier League, thanks to Odion Ighalo's  impressive 20 goals to become join top scorer for his club this


 Leon Balogun: The right back was in action from start to finish for Darmstadt as they
lost 2-1 to Rasen Ballsport Leipzig in a German Bundesliga 2 match.


 Ahmed Musa: The CSKA Moscow was in action for 89 minutes as his team beat Torpedo Moscow 2-0. He was replaced by Panchenko.


 Hope Akpan: He was an unused substitute for Reading as they lost 2-0 at home to Brentford in an English Championship game.


 Godfrey Oboabona: The defender was not listed for Rizespor as they lost Kasimpasa 3-1.


 Sone Aluko: He was on for the entire duration in the colours of Hull City as they won 2-0 at Crystal Palace.


 Sammy Ameobi: The lanky forward was an unused substitute for struggling Newcastle United as they lost 3-2 at home to Swansea City.


 Brown Ideye: He was a 75th minute substitute for Saido Berahino as West Brom drew goalless at home with Liverpool. His compatriot Victor Anichebe was in action for 64 minutes for ‘The Baggies’.


 John Ogu: He played the entire duration for Hapoel Be'er Sheva in their 1-1 draw at Beitar Jerusalem.


 Austin Ejide: The Nigeria goalkeeper was in goal for Hapoel Be'er Sheva in their 1-1 draw at Beitar Jerusalem.


Anthony Ujah: He was in action from start to finish for Cologne as they drew 1-1 at home to Bayer Leverkusen.


 Vincent Enyeama: Nigeria skipper played full game for Lille as they were thumped 6-1 by PSG.


 Michael Babatunde: He was not listed for Volyn, who lost 2-0 at Vorskla.


 Raheem Lawal: The midfielder was in action for the entire match for Eskisehirspor in a 1-1 draw at home with champions Fenerbahce.


 Emmanuel Emenike: He was an 87th minute substitute for Fenerbahce in a 1-1 draw at Eskisehirpsor. He replaced Alper Potuk.


 Kenneth Omeruo: The central defender was not listed for Middlesbrough as they lost 4-3 to Fulham in an English Championship game.


 Ike Uche: The striker was not listed by Villarreal as he is still recuperating from injury. Villarreal drew goalless with hosts Real Sociedad.


 Efe Ambrose: The defender played 21 minutes for Celtic as they thrashed hosts Dundee United 3-0. He was a 69th minute substitute for Adam Matthews.


 Ogenyi Onazi: He was in action for 86 minutes for Lazio colour in a 1-1 draw at home with Chievo Verona. He was replaced by Brayan Peres. He was also booked in the 57th minute.


 Akeem Latifu: The right back was in action for the entire game for Aalesund but they lost 2-0 at home to Tromso. His compatriot Leke James was also in action for Aalesund from start to finish.


 Mikel Obi: He was an unused substitute when Chelsea held Arsenal to a scoreless draw at the Emirates.


 Ramon Azeez: He was an unused sub for Almeria in a La Liga game as they beat Eibar 2-0.


 Juwon Oshaniwa: The left back was not listed by Ashdod in a 0-0 draw with Hapoel Haifa.


 Elderson Echiejile: He was an unused substitute for Monaco as they won 3-0 at Lens.
