It seems the poor outings of the Super Eagles in the recent friendlies have affected their stand in the FIFA ranking as they move down in the April table.
In
the latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday, April 9, the Super Eagles
of Nigeria are
ranked number 45, four places below their ranking on the previous table (41).
The fall in the table has also made them lose their number seven spot in Africa to number eight.
Algeria,
Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Tunisia, Senegal, Cape Verde Island and Cape
Verde make up the first seven countries ahead of Nigeria.
Algeria remains number one in Africa but fell to 21st place from their previous 18th of the previous world ranking ranking.
Its business as usual for World Champions Germany who remain at number one on the world ranking.
