Nigeria midfielder Shehu Abdullahi has told AfricanFootball.com he is thrilled to help his Kuwaiti Premier League side Al Qadsia qualify for the final of 2015 Kuwait Emir’s Cup.
The former Kano Pillars ace was a Trojan in the midfield as Al Qadsia defeated Yarmouk 2-0 in the
semifinal on Tuesday.
"I am happy to have been involved in this game, my mission here is to win trophies and reaching the final of the Emir's Cup is a thing of joy. I am looking forward to lifting the trophy," Shehu said.
Al Qadsia will face Al Salmiyah who beat Al Arabi 4-2 after extra time, in this year’s final as they attempt to win the trophy for the 16th time.
