NFF sets up Normalization Committee for Anambra FA


The Executive Committee of Nigeria Football Federation has decided to empanel a Normalization Committee for the running of affairs of the Anambra State Football Association.
Chairman of the Normalization Committee, which has an initial tenure of three months, is
Barrister Clifford Iloegbune Okoye, while members are Barrister Okey Abazu, Barrister Chike Ononye, Mr. Uzo Epudu and Mr. Patrick C. Okafor. Secretary of the Anambra State FA, Mr. Onyedika Chijioke will serve as Secretary to the Committee.
Chairman of State FA Chairmen, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, confirmed on Thursday that the Normalization Committee will be inaugurated in Awka on Friday, April 10.

NFF’s resolve arose after its emissaries to Anambra State on peace mission, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau and Alhaji Yusuf Ahmed Fresh (members of the NFF Executive Committee) returned to Abuja on Wednesday and painted a picture of deep divisions within the State’s football political structure.
