How SUPER EAGLES players in Europe performed


Super Eagles of Nigeria will in June begin the race to qualify for AFCON 2017 in Gabon and so AfricanFootball.com takes a look at the performances of some of the players at their respective clubs this weekend.
 Leon Balogun: He was not listed for his German Bundesliga two side Darmstadt 98 as they drew
1-1 at Nurnberg on Friday. He has scored four goals in the league as his team in battle for promotion.
Elderson Echiejile: He was on from start to finish for Monaco as they beat hosts Caen 3-0 in a Ligue 1 tie.

Ike Uche: Scored for Villarreal in a 1-1 draw at old club Getafe.

Babatunde Michael: He was in action for the entire duration for Volyn as the drew 1-1 at Metalurg Zaporizhia.

Efe Ambrose: The Nigeria defender played the full game for Celtic as they drew 1-1 at Inverness.

Brown Ideye: He played an hour as West Brom lost 3-2 at home to Leicester City. He was replaced by fellow Nigerian Victor Anichebe.

Victor Moses: The winger lasted for 44 minutes in the colours of Stoke City in a 1-1 draw at West Ham United. The Chelsea player on loan at Stoke City was replaced by Mame Biram Diouf after he copped a “strange” injury and could now be out for several weeks.

Sone Aluko: He played for 84 minutes as his team Hull City lost 2-0 at Southampton. He gave way for Abel Hernandez.

Odion Ighalo: The Watford hitman only featured for eight minutes as his club defeated Milwall 2-0 away. He was a substitute for Matej Vydra.

Kenneth Omeruo: He was not listed by his English Championship side Middlesbrough as they beat Rotherham 2-0.

Hope Akpan: The Nigeria midfielder played just six minutes for his Championship side Reading as they drew goalless at home to Blackburn Rovers. He was introduced for Garath McCleary in the 84th minute.

Ighodaro Osaguona: Nigeria striker hit target as Raja Casablanca drew 2-2 at home to Wydad Casablanca. He scored in the 64th minute,

Moses Simon: The recently capped forward was in action for Gent for 44 minutes in a Belgian league game which they lost 2-1 to Sporting Charleroi. He replaced Benito Raman in the 46th minute.

Juwon Oshaniwa: He was not listed for FC Ashdod in a goalless draw at home to Hapoel Acre in a relegation play-off game.

Mikel Obi: He was an unused substitute as EPL table toppers Chelsea beat QPR 1-0.

Ogenyi Onazi: He was an unused substitute as Lazio thrashed Empoli 4-0.

Anthony Ujah: He played the entire duration in Cologne's 3-2 win over Hoffeinheim. He was among the goal scorers.

Akeem Latifu: The right back was on from start to finish for Aalesund as they drew 1-1 at home with Lillestrom.

Aaron Samuel: He lasted for 62 minutes for Guangzhou R&F as they beat Shandong Luneng 2-1 in a Chinese Super League game. He was replaced by Michel Herrero after he suffered a shoulder injury.

Vincent Enyeama: The Super Eagles captain was in goal for the entire game as Lille defeated hosts Evian TG 1-0.
