FEPSGA Boss Lauds Keshi’s Re-Appointment

President of the Federation of Public Service Games (FEPSGA), Comrade Hassan Dahiru, has described the re-appointment of Stephen Keshi as the chief coach of the Super Eagles for a second stint as a “welcome development”.
He commended the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for giving the
former skipper of the national team a second chance, saying the ‘Big Boss’ will work hard to make Nigerians proud at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon.
“For me, it’s a welcome development. We have to appreciate achievements. From the antecedents of Coach Keshi, he did well as international footballer for Nigeria and, as a coach, he took Nigerian football to a high level. We can’t overlook his achievements because of his flaws as a human being.

“The second chance given to him by the NFF is a welcome development, because it will encourage him do more. This second chance will make him work hard and, also, go a long way in encouraging other indigenous coaches to work hard. I don’t believe in hiring foreign coaches when our own local coaches can do better,” he said.
