Nigeria World Cup star Michael Babatunde is facing very trying times in Ukraine as he has not been paid for the past four months by his club Volyn.
The Eagles forward is therefore desperate to quit war-troubled Ukraine by the summer.
“Babatunde wants to quit Ukraine. He has not been paid for the past four months and he can no
longer endure it,” a source informed AfricanFootball.com
"He could now get FIFA to release him from his contract should he still be owed by his club."
Soon after last year’s World Cup in Brazil, Babatunde was linked with a move to various clubs in England and Germany.
But he would later rejoin Volyn after he recovered from wrist and knee injuries.
His handlers claim he will finally be on the move this summer.
The player himself had earlier said he hoped to be on the move in January.
