Serie A clubs Atalanta, Genoa are set to swoop Super Eagles midfielder, Joel Obi.
The Inter Milan player has had a torrid time at the San Siro and will be looking for another challenge elsewhere.
Atalanta
and Genoa are reportedly monitoring Joel Obi's situation at Inter Milan
with the
intentions of making a bid for him in the summer.
Obi signed by Inter in 2005 as a youth team player before being promoted to the first team.
The
23-year-old Obi, has been plagued with injuries and was close to
sealing a move to the Middle East in January, but the deal fell through
under mysterious circumstances.
This season Obi
has found game hard to come by but he scored his first first team goal
for the club last year in a 1-1 draw with Inter’s city rivals, AC Milan.
He
will be hoping to add to his 10 Serie A appearances this season when
they take on Milan in the derby this weekend after his full recovery
from an injury that sidelined him for almost two months.
