Nigeria international Odion Ighalo has said he is fulfilled to have done his job after he banged home his 20th goal in the English Championship Wednesday night.
The former Granada of Spain forward said it will be the best season of his career if his
club Watford eventually secured promotion to the English Premier League.
"This is the first time I will score 20 goals in a season, I am fulfilled to achieve that. I am happy with it, if we won promotion to the premier league, it will be the best season of my life," Ighalo said.
The ex-Udinese forward headed in a cross in the fourth minute to give Watford a 1-0 lead in the 3-1 win at Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.
Watford are third on the league table with 82 points from 43 games, just two behind leaders AFC Bournemouth and same points with second-placed Norwich City.
There are three rounds of matches to the end of the regular season.First two teams gain promotion automatically into the EPL, while third to sixth-placed teams go into the playoffs to determine the third team that join them in the top flight.
