2016 CHAN Qualifiers: Super Eagles Draw Burkina Faso (SEE FULL DRAW)

Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles side on Sunday afternoon were drawn against Burkina Faso in the qualifiers for the 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN) which will be hosted by Rwanda.
The Eagles, bronze winners in their first appearance at the competition in 2014, will play the
west Africans in the first leg of the qualifiers on the weekend of June 19, 20 and 21. The second leg match will hold on the weekend of July 3,4 and 5, 2015.
The 4th edition of the Championship will be played in 2016 between January 16 to February 7 in two venues.
The Confederation of African Football divided all the competing teams in different zones according to their geographical locations on the continent.
The North Zone have three teams, namely Morocco, Tunisia and Libya gunning for two tickets to Rwanda 2016.
Elsewhere, five West African teams could join the Super Eagles of Nigeria in qualifying for the competition.

Meanwhile in the draw for the 2015 Africa Beach Soccer Championship which will produce Africa’s two representatives to the FIFA Beach World Cup in July, Nigeria’s Beach Eagles team have been drawn against the hosts; Seychelles, Egypt and Cote d’ Ivoire in Group A while the Group B is made up of Senegal, Morocco, Ghana and Madagascar.
