YOUNGSTER: European clubs eye Thankgod Simon

KAA Gent attacking winger Moses Simon's younger brother has become the target of some of Europe's top clubs, supersport.com has been informed.
Thankgod Daddy Simon is a gifted winger like his older brother Moses, who has been hogging the headlines in Europe as one of the hottest young talent following his switch from AS Trencin to Belgian Jupiler side KAA Gent.
The 17-year-old is now scheduled to leave the famous GBS Academy in Jos, Nigeria, for
Europe, according to the academy's head of operations, Ibrahim Ahmed.
But Thankgod Simon will have to wait till he turns 18 before he can travel to Europe to seal a move with one of his suitors, who remain undisclosed.
"Thankgod is a very talented and special young kid and just like his older brother Moses Simon he is unique because he can use both feet very well, you cannot tell the difference between his left and right foot.
"As brothers they are very similar in style but Thankgod is taller and stronger. He is a goalscorer with good dribbling, speed and crosses. He's still very young but I am sure that he will go all the way to the top like his big brother Moses. He's just a lookalike (in playing style).
"Currently there are several interests for Thankgod from top clubs in Europe and our head office in London is dealing with it. Once he turns 18 he will travel," said Ahmed to supersport.com.
If Thankgod Simon becomes a big hit in Europe like his older brother they could turn out to be the latest brothers with exceptional talent in world football, aping the long line of brothers in the game like the Toures, Hazards, Koemans and De Boers.
