Olaitan’s return continues at pace

The good days are back for former Nigeria youth international, Michael Olaitan.
Questions had been raised over the future of the 22-year-old after he collapsed unchallenged during a Greek Super League game between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos on March 2, 2014.
He was subsequently revived by doctors but did not play again in the 2013/14 season.
Olympiacos then farmed him out on loan to fellow Super League club, Ergotelis on a six-month loan deal on January 30.
On Wednesday, Olaitan made his return to competitive action as he replaced Mohammed Youssouf in the 68th minute of Ergotelis’ 0-4 loss to Panaitolikos at Stadio Panetolikou.
Olaitan spent 22 minutes on the pitch and supersport.com can report that no negative incidents occurred.
It marked a remarkable achievement for the former Flying Eagles man, who has not played competitively since March 2, 2014.
Olaitan has scored 26 goals in all competitions since turning professional in 2010
