The penultimate precursor tourney to the Nigeria Professional Football League season called the NPFL Super4 Tournanment kicks off today 7th December, 2016 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium (aka The Cathedral) in Enugu.
The tournament ushers in the new NPFL season and this year's edition is organised by the League Management Company in conjunction with the Enugu State Government. This year's tournament comprises of four teams which include NPFL Champions Rangers Int'l FC, League runners up Rivers United FC, FC Ifeanyi Ubah and Wikki Tourist
Federation Cup Champions FC Ifeanyi Ubah will face Wikki Tourist in the opening match
